Pre-requisites:  Must have complete a training class or worked in a private training session with Play Bow;   some dogs may attend with special approval from Instructor.

Duration:   4 weeks;  1 1/2 hours each

Cost:     all  4 = $100;    Drop-in = $25 each.

Topics:   To be determined by students and dogs goals. Topics will vary.  This is a practice class to increase your dogs skills and to refresh their training.

Polite Puppy 101 [or Puppy Kindergarten] -  Starting Tues. NOV.  15th @ 6:30 pm

Give your puppy those all-important good manners. Help him develop concentration skills and lay the foundation for a lifetime of listening to you. Plus, with Play Bow Dog Training, classes are fun!

For:  Puppies younger than 6 months.

Pre-requisites:  Must be current on vaccinations.

Polite Puppy 201 [or Puppy Junior High]

Continue your puppy’s education. Good manners and the ability to focus can fall by the wayside during these turbulent months of canine development. With Play Bow Dog Training, your teenage dog won’t forget his schooling.

For:  Puppies 6–12 months of age.

Pre-requisites:  Must be current on vaccinations and have completed Polite Puppy 101       

Duration: 6 weeks

 Dog Training Basics 2

Build on what you and your dog have learned. Strengthen skills, sharpen your dog’s focus, and learn more problem solving techniques for success outside the classroom.

For:  Dogs 6+ months of age.

Pre-requisites:  Must be current on vaccinations, have completed Basics 1, or pass evaluation.

Duration:  6 weeks

Topics:

Distraction work (non-moving and moving objects).      On Your Mat.        Separation.      Leave-it.      Build distance and duration for sits, downs, and come when called.      Loose-leash walking (crowds, dogs, and more).

Off-Leash Adult Dog

Put your dog’s training to the test when the leash is off and distractions abound. This fun class challenges you and your dog—and provides a safe environment to practice real-world off-leash skills.

For:    Adult dog-friendly dogs – limit 4 dogs ONLY per class.

Pre-requisites:    Dog must have completed Basics 1 or pass evaluation.

 Responsi-Bull Project: Train-A-Pit Classes                                                                                           

A 5-week FREE educational service offered to low income families with Pit Bulls.

We are the volunteer trainers for this class, which we developed in conjunction with Bullseye Dog Rescue. The class is interactive and high-energy with lots of individual attention.  This class is not just your average training class.   We focus on Positive Leadership, Impulse/ Arousal Control, and Not Jumping up; all thru the use of  positive – reward based training methods.
